OUTLAY OF MILLIONS
FIGHTING SERVICES AUSTRALIAN ESTIMATES (Reed. Nov. 17, 9 a.m.) CANBERRA, Nov. 16. The Minister for the Army, Mr. G. A. Street, announced yesterday that the expenditure on the Australian army would be £28,000,000, that on the navy would be £14,500,000, and that on the air force £12,000,000, exclusive of the cost of the Empire air training plan.
