YUGOSLAVIA CONTROL
EXPORT OF MINERALS DEFENCE OF REALM ALLIED ENTERPRISES (British Official Wireless.) | Reed. 1 p.m. RUGBY, Nov. 15. j Much concern is displayed in London regarding the effect of a decree issued by Yugoslavia controlling the production and export of minerals in the interests of the defence of the i realm. The largest copper mine in Europe, owned by French interests, and tht Trebha lead and zinc mines, owned by British, are affected* by the decree, but London authoritative circles state that Britain will expect that a new system will be worked in not prejudicial to British commercial interests and in strict conformity with Yugoslavia’s obligations as a neutral. Information has been conveyed to London that the new decree does not involve the confiscation of British property. Enterprises to be included within the scope of a special commissariat being established are reported to be under consideration in Belgrade and other details of the working of the decree are awaited.
