AUSTRALIAN PLANS AID TO GROWERS (Reed. Nov. IG, 9 a.m.) . CANBERRA, Nov. 15. The Federal Prime Minister, Mr. R. G. Menzies, announced to-day that the Commonwealth Bank would advance £20,000,000 to growers for the sale of their wheat - The basis' of the advances would be 3s a bushel for bagged and 2s lOd for bulk wheat f.o.b. at ports. " The Commonwealth would repay itselr from the market realisations and the flour-tax collections. In addition the Commonwealth, in certain circumstances, would proVidt £2,000,000 in order to raise the average realisation for marketed wheal to 3s 4d a bushel at shipping ports.
