DROP IN EXPENDITURE

BRITISH TREASURY (Reed. Nov. 16, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 15. Compared with last week, the national expenditure dropped sharply. The total expenditure to date is £671,000,000, this being only £62,500,000 above the figure at the corresponding time a year ago. The total revenue, £444,000,000, is £33,000,000 higher than at the corresponding time last year.
