The spread of convolvulus on the footpaths in WHataupoko was reported at last night’s meeting of the Gisborne Borough Council by Cr. H. H. DeCosta, .who maintained that if steps were not taken to eradicate the weed it would become worse than ragwort. The roots went clown to a depth of 3ft. 6in„ and were pushing up the bitumen. The matter was referred to the borough engineer. Mr. E. R. Thomas, for attention.
