GOLD MINER KILLED
EMBANKMENT FALLS PINNED UNDER DEBRIS (Per Press AssoHation.) DUNEDIN, this day. While working in a gold-mining Maim at Kyeburn diggings, about 10 nilcs from Naseby, yesterday afternoon, Percy Brown, aged 54 years '■eceived injuries which later resulted in his death. He was working at a claim beneath a bank about 20ft. high, part of which became dislodged and fell oil him. Pinned down by the fall, the injured man was dragged clear by his cousin, John Brown, who works with him. Dr. Eudev, of Ranfurly, arrived approximately two hours later, but f he man was then dead. Mr. Brown was a married man with an adult "amily of four.
