SALVAGE BY JAPS
FORMER BRITISH SHIP ARRIVAL AT OSAKA (Reed. Nov. 15, 9 a.m.) OSAKA, Nov. 14. The Okada Salvage Company sailed the former British ship Makumbo into Osaka to-day, having succeeded in dragging her off a reef in the New Hebrides, where she grounded 30 months ago. The salvage company sailed the ship 3600 miles under her own power, turning an. investment of 15.000 yen into 700,000 yen.
