GESTAPO ROUND-UP
SEQUEL TO EXPLOSION Reports reaching Amsterdam front Germany indicate that the Munich explosion is being followed by a wave of arrests throughout the country, states a Daventry broadcast. The incident apparently is being used as an excuse to round up a vast number of Germans who either have property or are thought to be potentially dangerous. The. German secret police arc carrying out their work in many of the big cities.
As a result of the explosion the movements of Herr Hitler will not be disclosed in future. Although lbs flag Was (lying over the Chancellery at Berlin on Monday, Ilcrr Hitler was not there, but was attending the funeral in Munich of the seven victims of the bomb explosion.
German newspapers continue to accuse Britain of engineering the deed. Thev are even exploring history as far bade as the reign of Henry IV in order to*convince their readers that Britain is accustomed to using murder.
