Returns showing that nearly £34,000 had been claimed by Ihe Auckland Hospital Board from the social security fund for the three months from the beginning of July, when hospital benefits became operative, and that there had been an increase of £l9lß in patients’ fees from all sources in the six months ended September 30, were placed before the board at its meeting this week.
