Gisborne Bus Earnings
Although more passengers were carried hy the municipal buses during the fortnight ended November 5. compared with the corresponding period last year, and tlie total revenue was higher, the average earnings per mile showed a decrease. During the period, fares and subsidies totalled .□lB 7s 3d, and the earnings averaged 12.47 d per mile over a total running of 6126 miles, passengers carried totalling 28,047. A year ago, the fares and subsidies totalled £316 18s lid and the average revenue per mile 12.79 d over 5945 miles, passengers totalling 27,663.
