ROYALTY AT CINEMA
“LION HAS WINGS” EXPLOITS OF AIR FORCE (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 1 p.m. RUGBY, Nov. 13. The King and Queen, accompanied by the Duchess of Kent, visited a West End cinema this afternoon and saw the film “The Lion has Wings,” depicting the exploits of the Royal Air Force.
It was Their Majesties’ first visit to a cinema since their coronation and the first visit to a place of entertainment since the outbreak of the war.
