APPEAL UPHELD

LIFE DISQUALIFICATION LIFTING BY CONFERENCE HIGHBALL-BEAU MONDE (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The New Zealand Racing Conference has issued the following judgment on the appeal, under rule 376 of the rules of racing, by G. A. McDonell for the removal of the disqualification of the horses Highball and Beau Monde which was incurred bv reason of C. A. Crosby, falsely known as A. J. McCormac, a person disqualified for life under the name of R. B. Mclntyre, having acquired an interest in the former horse and having had the latter horse in his charge: “That, after ; hearing the appellant in this matter, we are of the opinion that wo should accept his explanation that he had no knowledge of A. J. McCormac’s real identity, and accordingly that the disqualification of the horses. Highball and Beau Monde, should be removed.”
