WELLINGTON CUP

CONDITIONS IMPOSED ENTRY RESTRICTED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The stewards of the Wellington Racing Club yesterday decided to attach the following condition to the £3200 Wellington Cup to be run in January next:—“For three-year-olds and upwards who, at the time of starting, have won a race of the value of £350 to the winner, or races of a collective value ot £SOO to the winner.”

The object is stated to be to keep the entry down to reasonable dimensions and to confine the races to horses who have already proved their ability.
