WOMAN REMANDED

THEFT CHARGES PENDING POLICE ALLEGATIONS (Por Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. When Adelia O’Hanlon, aged .57, was charged in the Police Court today with stealing a carton of honey valued at lOd from a grocery store, Detective-Sergeant Walsh said that many other charges were to be brought against her. Over ' 1000 articles, which were alleged to have been stolen from stores, had been sorted-out in the police gymnasium, and he suggested that, provided no objection was made, the charge be heard there. lie requested a remand until Tuesday next. Mr. Aekins, appearing for O'Hanlon, agreed to both requests. The magistrate, Mr. J. Molding consented to the renewal of bail.
