NATIONALISTS’ CONCERN COMMENT OF LEADER (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Addressing National Party supporters at Pahiatua last night, the Hon. Adam Hamilton said he believed that the Government would not worry unduly if it wrecked the country's financial system.

The object of the Government, he said, was to overthrow capitalism and the system of private ownership. If financial manipulations brought disaster, the Government would be happy. They could say, Look, capitalism has broken down; we will have to adopt socialism.” The farmer had to get back the ownership of his produce after the war, and it was the farmer's job to see that men of the right type were in power then.
