DRUIDS’ LODGE

FORTNIGHTLY MEETING The fortnightly meeting of the Druids’ Lodge, held last night, was of short duration, in consequence of the fixture of the indoor bowls competition between the representatives of the various local lodges, which was held at the close of business. The meeting was presided over by the A.D., Bro. L. Allwood. A vote of sympathy with the relatives of the late Bro. W. Henshaw was carried. Sick.pay amounting to £3G 10s (id was passed for payment. It was resolved to hold a children’s party in the Orange Hall on Saturday. December 18, in lieu of a Christmas tree which had been suggested formerly. Several donations to the fund had been made already.
