The Secretary of State for War, Mr. L. Hore-Belisha, toid a private gathering of members of the House of Commons that 32 divisions was not the limit of Britain’s land efTort. They were looking forward to the arrival of Dominion contingents. He added that the enormous reserves at Home were largely augmented by the reserves in the MiddleEast and troops in India.
