The Polish Foreign Minister, M. j Zaleski, in an interview revealed that j the Nazi Foreign Minister, Herr von j Ribbcntrop approached the Polish : Ambassador in Berlin on March 21 | with a plan for collaboration by Pol- ' and and Germany against Russia. Herr von Ribbcntrop first suggested to the Polish Ambassador in October of 1938 that Poland and Germany should join forces in presenting colonial claims. This was unsuccessful. It was followed by the suggestion that Poland and Germany should tvork to bring down the Soviet regime. Again Poland turned a deaf ear.
