SEEN OFF BERGEN

THE CITY OF FLINT BRITISH NAVAL WATCH (Reed. Nov. 4. 9 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 3. A message from Bergen reports that the American freighter City of Flint, which is under a German prize crew, passed outside the Bergen naval district at 9.30 a.m. Several British warships were observed off-shore watching the progress of the City of Flint in Norwegian territorial waters. A Washington message states that the American Attorney-General, Mr, Murphy, said that the Justice Department was studying the legal aspect of the seizure of the City of Flint to enable a vigorous presentation of the American rights if necessary.
