(llenilil f.'on'c.spomlcnt.) The snooker tournament which has been in progress for some weeks has been finished, being won by L. Dudeck, 0, Wellington being runnerup. At tiie recent meeting of the School Committee it was decided to hold a dance on Saturday, November 11, to raise funds for the school prizes. Mr. T. Hobbs, Kopuawhara, spent last week-end at Tikiwhata with his daughter, Mrs. T. Callaghan.—Mrs. 11. Fuller and Ross are in Gisborne for a short holiday.—Mrs. J. L. Smith is visiting Gisborne. —Mrs. J. Williams is in hospital in Gisborne.

Mrs. E. Devcry and Miss D. Devery spent last week-end with relatives at Motu. —Messrs. J. O'Brien, P. Sexton and N. Dalish have been transferred to Tuai.—Mr. and Mrs. W. Hurry and family have left to reside.at Tuai,— Mr. .1. May, Tuai. is now at Tikiwhata.

Mr. and Mrs. Tregoweth leave today for Waikoura Camp. Mr. P. Fox, who injured his knee while at work, is still an inmate of the Cook Hospital, Gisborne. Mr. N. Suiter, Kopuawhara, is the guest of his mother, Mrs. R. Jones, while recovering from his recent accident. Mrs. A. Suiter,, Auckland, is also staying with Mrs. Jones.
