Centrepoise and Arctic King were on terms over a mile in I.4ssec. Lady Furst went a mile alone in lmin 44 l-ssec. Trench Fight ran the best mile of ihe morning in 1.41 l-ssec. Wardress took 1.41 4-ssec, with Lockit as _ a mate over the last half. Wagner, with Dinah Dhu over the last seven furlongs, took I.44sec. Passaform and Chirp took 1.45 2-ssec. Spartan narrowly beat Dictate, with Parquet further back over a mite and a-quarter in 2.12. Baran and Moorsotis beat Studiey Royal over a mile in 1.43. Beaupartir beat Raeburn easily in 1.46. Over seven furlongs Stylist stayed on well, beating Lady Rosette in 1.30 3- Sudan and Sceptre doing it in 1.30 4-ssec, Princess Minerva in 1.30 2-5, Old Surrey in 1.32 4-5 sec. Great Swoop and Great Flight in 1.33 1- and Rebel Lad and Pink Lad in 1.31 4-ssec. Nightcalm did the best six furlongs in 1.15 l-ssec, Montessa taking 1.16. Authoress beat Cymric in 1.16 2-5 sec. Swordstick and Half and Hall took 1.16. Disdain and Rakahanga went five furlongs in 1.2 2-ssec, Paper Slipper in 1.2 4-5, Sternchase and Areas in 1.2 4- and Sweet Mystery and King's Toast in 1.2 3-5. Vercy Lights and Great Legion occupied 1.4, and Rhodiirn and Nolana took 1.2 2-ssee. Over half a mile Toro Koura just beat Dark Flight in 48sec, while it occupied Rebellion 48 3-5, Density 50 2- Kilrobe, St. Cloud (separately), 48 Up the back stretch Not Out beat Lord Midas in 48 4-ssee
Along the back several two-year-olds sprinted. Doria narrowly beat Don’t Forget in 48 4-ssec. Shikari and Khinga doing 40 2-ssec and Wild Fox 50 2-ssec. Puella beat Blue Abbey in 50sec.
