ACCIDENTAL DEATH
VERDICT ON MOTORIST COLLISION WITH TRAIN (Per Pross Association.) PALMERSTON N., this day. At the inquest into the death of George Glasgow Jamieson, aged 33, a farmer, who was killed in the West street level crossing collision with a train on Labour Day, evidence was given that the deceased had twice been refused a driving license owing to his incompetence in driving. The deceased was driving into the setting sun when the fatality occurred.
A verdict of accidental death was returned.
