As from November 13, 120,000 dock workers will receive an increased wage of Is daily. The minimum daily wage at the large ports will be 14s and at the smaller ports the rate will be 13s. More than 30,000 London workers in the women’s garment trade will receive, as from November 6, an increase of 10 per cent in wages as a war bonus.
