HOTEL THIEF'S RUSE
As a pretext to enter the room of a fellow guest at an hotel in a London suburb Howard Darley Keith, aged 30, of Ashley Heath, Hampshire, offered, it was stated at Marylebone Court, to treat the guest's gas mask with a special preparation. Keith was sentenced to six weeks’ imprisonment for stealing a pair of pyjamas and other linen belonging to a student staying at the hotel.
