DRAFT FOR HUNTERVILLE
A draft of 300 two and three-year steers now passing through Central Hawke’s Bay has travelled a very long way and has still a lengthy drive ahead before it reaches its destination Purchased in the Gisborne district, the cattle are en route to Hunterville, and with the fresh growth now on the roadsides they are standing up to the long trek well.
SALE AT DANNEVIRKE
At the Dannevirke Cattle Fair this week, 48 Ileieford bullocks from Gisborne were sold at ,C 8 12s Od. The sale attracted about 2000 head, and there was a healthy tone in the market.
