The? Poverty Bay badminton championships were decided at the Bartletts club's court in Hie Y.IYI.C.A. Hall Barlletts, on Thursday evening. Representatives from the Gisborne. Waikohu, Puha and Barlletts clubs took part in the tournament and, as was predicted, some close play was witnessed.
At the conclusion of the evening Mr. M. Hopkinson introduced the players and Mr. Mitchell, who presented the cups and trophies to the winners.
