ROYAL GOLFER

LEOPOLD OF BELGIUM King Leopold of the Belgians, who was beaten by an Englishman in the second round of the recent Belgian amateur open golf chamoionship, is now the finest Royal golfer in the world, according to tne opinion of Brigadier-General Critchley, famous British sportsman.

"The King has one serious fault,” said the general. “He does everything too quickly. If he would take more time over his strokes I am sure he would be one of the best amateur golfers in the world. He has no nerves and seems quite unaware that he is being watched by a large number of people. I should think the most remarkable thing about him is his power. He is a tremendous hitter.”
