SUDDEN DEATH

VISITOR TO GISBORNE The sudden death of a visitor to Gisborne, Mr. William Charles Washer aged 67, single, occurred last evening at the home of his sister, Mrs. E. H. Havers, 42 Lytton road. The deceased was a retired farmer from the Horotiu district and had been in Gisborne for the past three months. He had been under treatment from a doctor in Ngaruawahia for the past four years. Mr. Washer retired at about 9 p.m. yesterday and was found dead in bed at 7.30 a.m. to-day when Jiis sister received no answer to her "call. It is understood .that death was caused bv heart failure and no inquest will be necessary. The body of the deceased will be taken to Auckland to be cremated.
