PROMOTIONS ANNOUNCED (Tor Truss Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The following promotions in the Royal New Zealand Force are gazetted:— ,
Squadron Leader M. W. Buckley to be Wing Commander Squadron Leader S. Wallingford, Wing Commander; Squadron Leader H. B. Burrell, Wing Commander (temporary); Squadron Leader E. G. Olson, Wing Commander (temporary).
Group, Captain H. W. L. Saunders relinquishes his appointment as a member of the Air Board during his absence from New Zealand, and Group Captain L. M. Isitt is to act as chief of Air Staff during Group Captain tain Saunders’ absence from New Zealand.
Squadron Leader E. G. Olson is to be a member of the Air Board and will act as an Air Force member for the personnel during Group Captain fsitt’s period of appointment.
Mr. P. C. Weenink is to act as Air Secretary, and will be a member of the Air Board during the absence from New Zealand of Mr. T. A. Barrow.
