VIGILANT WATCH
SAFETY OF LINERS QUEEN MARY-NORMANDIE (Rccd. Oct. 27, 9 a.m.) NEW YORK. Oct. 26. Scores of police and watchmen and also coastguard police boats arc constantly guarding the Cunard-White Star liner Queen Mary, and the French liner Normandie, against the waterside fear of sabotage. Only those having urgent business and approved credentials are allowed aboard the vessels. Even cars arc not permitted to halt in the vicinity. Five mounted policemen are assigned to keep spectators moving.
