KIA ORA CLUB

(Herald Correspondent.) The annual meeting of the Kia Ora Tennis, Bowling and Croquet Club vas held on Wednesday" night in the Makaraka-Matawhero Hall, there being a good attendance. The annual report and balance sheet were adopted. Officers elected were:—Patron, Mr. R. K. Murphy; president, Mr. G. P. Reid; vice-president, Mr. H. Lange; treasurer, Mr. C. Tietjen; secretary, Mr. R. -Muir; committee, Messrs. W. Marshall, L. Eade, I. Cameron, R Rogers, I. Barboure, Misses M. Herbert and J. Barboure.

It was decided to open the courts an November 18, when tennis, croquet and bowls would be played and members of other country clubs would be invited to attend.
