EX-CRICKETERS WANTED
Depletion of the ranks of the active members was reported recent'v at a meeting of the Poverty Bay Cricket Umpires’ Association, and it was explained that there were not sufficient men available to umpire anv of the games to-morrow on the High School grounds. Members were asked to make an aupeal to former cricketers to assist the sport by ensuring that all games would have "hew full quota of umpires. There were present Messrs. C. Car-f-nr. chapman. T. Sharp, E. Judge. J Brown. H. V. Wilkins. L. Jackson, and the hon. secretary, Mr. 11. A. Hamilton. The draw for tomorrow is ns follows: — , Senior A Grade, —G.H.5.0.8. v. O r Bovs, Oval No. 2 wicket.
