OBITUARY
An Auckland exchange records the death of Mr. Samuel William Downird, Mount Eden, in his ninety-second year. Mr. Downard was born at Hove, Brighton, on. May 21, 1848, and for a number of years was in business at Brighton and at Lewes, Sussex. He came to New Zealand with his family in 1888.
