McCartcn will ride Lusson in the Victoria Derby. Wilson is suffering from soreness, but his trainer, F. lVlusgrave. anticipates that the colt will be all right in a few days.
Reading worked freely at Flemington to-day and is to be given a test with Gold Salute to-morrow.
Rivcttc, the winner of tiro Caulfield Cup. is to run in the Moonee Valley Cup. She will be ridden by E. Preston.
Respirator did pace work to-day. and it looks as if he is not likely to run again before the Melbourne Cup. Marmisti has arrived from Adelaide.
