Mr. Stuart Hibberd, the 8.8.C.’s chief announcer, said in announcing a programme of gramophone records last night:— “And here is Mr. Victor Sylvester, with his bathroom dances . . .”
Then he stopped, coughed, had a little laugh himself, and added a correction: “I’m sorry. Mr. Sylvester and his ballroom orchestra.” the old song?
