CHINESE GENERAL HALTING SUPPLIES (Reed. Oct. 26, 9 a.m.) NEW YORK. Oct. 25. A message received from China by the New York Times, says that General Pai Chung Shi, the commander of the Chinese south of the Yangtse, interviewed foreign correspondents and sharply criticised the French action in halting, without warning, Chinese supplies transhipped from Indo-China.
