NOT ON THE LIST

LONDON INQUIRIES NEW YORK ASSURANCE (Reed. Oct. 2G, 10 a.m.) LONDON. Oct. 25. It was to-day reported that the name of the New Zealand cricketer, H. G. Vivion, did not appear in the list of those missing from the steamer Yorkshire.

The Bibby Line was unable to confirm the previous report that he was a passenger and it was doubtful whether he was aboard, because, in farewelling a friend in London, lie said he was going to book to New York by a Cunarcl liner. Doubts were resolved, however, with the arrival of a New York message stating that Vivian had arrived there aboard the. Georgia, fit and well. He was surprised at the false report that he was a survivor of the Yorkshire.

Vivian is leaving for New Zealand shortly.
