(British Official Wireless.) Reed. noon. RUGBY, Oct, 25. Replying to the Leader of the Oppo--1 sition, Major C. R. Attlee, in the House of Commons, the Prime Minister, Mr. Neville Chamberlain, said it was usual for treaties to be laid before the House for 21 days before ratification, but “in view of the exceptional circumstances of the present case it is desired that the Anglo-Turkish treaty should be ratified as soon as possible. We ' therefore propose to submit the treaty for His Majesty’s signature at once and exchange the instruments of ratification at Ankara next week,”
