NOT FOR GERMANY RUSSIAN PURCHASES (Reed. Ocl. 25, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 24. The Daily Telegraph says that Germany is not receiving the 17-1 tons of Soviet gold reported to be en route to Germany. The bullion lias been deposited in Dutch banks and is destined lo finance Russian purchases from the United States and for manufactures previously ordered from Britain which could not be delivered because of (he war.
