Reed. 11 a.m. RUGBY, Oct. 24. The King has sent a special donaion of £IOO to the 1939 Poppy Day appeal fund for the British Legion.

It is likely that troops in France will be wearing poppies on November 11. An inquiry has been made by the general headquarters of the British Expeditionary, Force as to the possibilities of arranging for sales of poppies to the officers and other ranks.
