RECORD PRICE FOR PIG
SOW AND LITTER (Per Press Association.) HASTINGS, this day. What is believed to be a record price for a pig, was realised at an auction sale here when £54 Is Cd was paid for a champion sow and a litter of seven. Last year the sow, which was exhibited at the Royal Show, secured ‘he championship and at the Hawke's Bay show last week secured first awards and the championship.
