PRISON BOLT FOILED
HOLE BLASTED IN WALL
MOUNTJOY CONVICTS (Reed. Oct. 24. 9 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 23. The Dublin correspondent of the Daily Mail -ays that using gclignile which is believed to have been smuggled into them concealed in cakes, half a dozen prisoners at exercise time attempted to.blow their way out of Mounljoy prison.
The explosion holed the great surrounding wall, blit the prisoners were driven back at the revolver point. None escaped.
