LINER PORT BOWEN
The Wanganui Harbour Board has served notice on the owners of the liner Port Bowen, under a by-law governing the foreshore at Castlecliff. to remove the vessel from the beach within six months. The Port Bowen has been stranded on the beach since July 19. Gear and stores are still being brought ashore from the ship.
