It is announced that the Belgian economist and politician, M. Paul van Zeeland, was among those injured aboard the liner President Harding during the buffeting she received in an Atlantic storm as reported yesterday. M. van Zeeland suffered facial abrasions and multiple contusions. He is en route to the refugee conference at Washington. The passengers include the New Zealander, Professor J. B. Condliffe, formerly professor of commerce at the London University, who is en route to America to take up an undisclosed appointment.
