In a few years Wanganui should be known far and wide for its magnificent display of cherry blossom. Already the trees, planted a few years -■go. for miles along the banks of the river, arc making a show, and many visitors have made special trips to -ee them. Kowhai Park and Christie’s Hill are also featured with the lovely pink and white trees.
