SUPPLY FOR BRITAIN URUGUAYAN PLANS (Reed. Oct. 19, noon.) BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 18. Britain has purchased 170,000 tons of Argentine beef and 30,000 tons of mutton. The Uruguay Commerce Ministry has announced that an agreement for the British purchase of 8000 tons of Uruguayan beef and 5000 tons of mutton will be concluded to-day.
