OCCUPYING POLAND
GERMANY AND SOVIET (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 12 noon RUGBY, Oct. 13 The Foreign Under-Secretary, Mr. R. A. Butler, said in the House of Commons to-day that Soviet troops occupy 8000 square miles of Poland west of the Curzon line. The districts in Poland occupied by Germany contained 17,250,000 Poles and by Russia 4,750,000 on the basis of the 193' census.
