Electric Lighting at Taupe
A plan for the improvement of the electric lighting system at Tnupo is under consideration by the Government. and the matter is one that will be looked into by tiie Minister of Internal Affairs, the lion. W. E. Parry, on his visit there this week. He stated on Saturday that the present installation was insufficient for the needs of flic town, and the Government had a scheme under consideration which would involve an alteration in the level of the Taupo Lake. Care would be taken to ensure that any alteration in the level would not affect the fishing at Tnupo,
