SHIP IN NORTH SEA (Reed. Oct. 17, 11.30 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, Oct. 10. The steamer Gressholm was mined and sunk in the North Sea. Three of the crew were killed, and the remaining eight were rescued by a Finnish steamer. LOSS OF ROYAL OAK (Reed. Oct. 17, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. IG. According to a German wireless broadcast the British battleship Royal Oak was sunk at 2.30 a.m. on Saturday.
