Show Catering Canvass
In connection with the appeal for contributions of catering items, issued by the 'Poverty Bay Women’s Central Representation Committee, which Is undertaking the catering at the Show as a patriotic effort, an error appeared in yesterday’s report of the organisation. Town residents willing to assist are requested to communicate with Mrs. I. F. Puflett, telephone 398, and not Mrs. T. Y. Cuthbert, as stated in the report. It is emphasised on behalf of the central committee that the town and suburban collectors named are intended to handle only those contributions coming from residents of Gisborne unconnected with any of the women’s organisations represented on the committee. Members of organisations are requested to offer their contributions through their respective representatives.
